Bhakti Sangam 2013, a festival of gratitude has been celebrated by more than 400 dedicated ISKCON devotees of Nepal. It was organized from 14th to 16th February at Biratnagar , Nepal. As its title and theme suggest, festival was over being gratitude towards Lord Krishna and his devotees for everything.
This was the third Bhakti Sangam festival in Nepal. Earlier were organized in 2010 and 2011 respectively. This year festival was organized in Biratnagar. Earlier it used to be celebrated in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Program was organized and managed by the devotees of Biratnagar. It was held in Atithi Sadan , Biratnagar. Program was hosted by His Grace Ambuja Krishna Prabhu.
Senior leaders of ISKCON: His Holiness Bhakti Bringa Govinda Swami Maharaja,His Holiness Mahavishnu Swami Maharaja , His Holiness Bhakti Purushottam Swami Maharaja and Her Grace Devaki mataji gave their wonderful association via their wonderful classes , seminars and Kritan. There were other senior preachers in the festival like His Grace Patri Prabhu.
Bhakti Bringa Govinda Swami is famous for wonderful melodious Kritan. We can find ourselves in ecstasy very easily if participated in his Kritan. This year's Bhakti Sangam was not exception. His Holiness lead Sankritan and devotees were sunk in the nectar of holy nameof lord- Hare Krishna Mahamantra: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
Mahavishnu Swami gave wonderful seminar on the first three Slokas of
Shikshastakam. He elaborately presented the message of Lord Chaitanya
over the whole festival. Participants could easily understand his
message that 'Lord Chaitanya's Sankritan , which is the congregational
chanting of the holy names of Lord in very humble and tolerant mood , is
the only way to save the world from degrading condition seen at present and
everyone should seriously participate in this global movement , which
has been spreaded worldwide at this modern time by His Divine Grace A.C.

Bhakti Purushottam Swami gave seminar on some of the topics of Chaitany Charitamrita. He gave wonderful classes on the pastimes of Lord Chaitanya and his followers. Participants could practically feel the sweetness of Lord Chaitanya's and his follower's pastimes.
Her Grace Devaki Mataji gave the seminar on the topic of 'Death'. She showed through seminar that death is all devouring and end of everything for non-devotees but the great opportunity for returning back home to Godhead for the devotees of Lord. She talked on various aspects of death. Scriptures say that our life is for preparing nicely to death as a student prepares for his exam. Devaki Mataji's classes were simply wonderful to realize that the art of dying is most important aspect of our life.
Program was finally over with Birat-nagar Hari Naam Sankritan. As large number of devotees were participating in the Sankritan , peoples of Biratnagar were surprised. Lord Chaitanya has himself predicted that his name will be heard in every villages and towns of the world & this Nagar Sankritan stood as one of the lively proof.
