Shree Krishna Janamastami in Nepal

Shree Krishna Janmastami commorates the appearance of the Lord Krishna in this eartly planet some 5000 years ago. Krishna is described as the Supreme Personality of Godhead in Vedic scriptures. He appeared in this earth as a son of Devaki and Vasudeva to restablish the principles of religion, to destroy the bases of irreligions and more importantly to protect his dear devotees.

When we talk about the birth of God, many people response by saying that God never takes birth. They argue that if God takes birth then he is a ordinary person not the God but Krishna himself tells in Bhagavad Gita
janma karma ca me divyamevaḿ yo vetti tattvataḥtyaktvā dehaḿ punar janmanaiti mām eti so ‘rjuna
(One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.) Thus it is wrong to think that our birth and Krishna's birth are identical. Krishna's birth is transcendental to matterial modes. We can not know the transcendental nature of his appearance.
Devotee take this Janmastami as the great opportunity to please Krishna, the supreme personality of Godhead.
Devotees of Lord Krishna celebrate it all over the world.
