
In the year 1977 , Srila Prabhupada sent his dedicated disciple His Holiness Prabhavishnu Swami to Nepal to start Krishna Consciousness the vital knowledge for the mankind. His Holiness Jayapataka Swami and His Holiness Mahavishnu Swami together assisted in the mission since then. In November 1990 , ISKCON got officially registered as International Society for Krishna Consciousness of Nepal , remaining under the umbrella of ISKCON International.
