Krishna, the supreme personality of Godhead, is never born
and never dies but when he appears as
taking birth in earthy planet he does appear in extraordinary manner. We can
not know the mystery of his birth. That’s why Krishna himself declares in
Bhagavad-Gita (4.9) that:-
naiti mām eti so 'rjuna
(One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.)
naiti mām eti so 'rjuna
(One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.)
That’s why when we talk about Krishna’s birth we should not
misunderstand it for being ordinary birth just like ours. He never born but
descends from his own abode at spiritual sky ‘Goloka Vrindavan ‘ to this earthly planet. Five thousands years ago he took birth in
Mathura , India . At that time he was manifested in his four handed form (
Vishnu Form) in front of his parents Vasudeva and Devaki . He manifested in his
original two handed form from that four handed Vishnu form as per the request
of his parents. Every years devotees remember
this wonderful pastime of lord Shree Krishna and celebrate Krishna Janmastami
festival.
