Jagannath Rath Yatra in Nepal - 2015 (2072 BS)

                ISKCON Nepal is organizing Jagannath Rath Yatra today starting from 10 am . Festival of chariot pulling called Rath Yatra will start from Kamaladi Kathmandu at 10 am and Jaganath, Baladev and Subhadra will be pulled in chariot upto Satdobato, Lalitpur.

                                   Out of their causeless mercy Lord Jagannath , Baladev and Subhadra come to our streets to give their darshan. Scriptures clarify numerous benefits of pulling Rath of Lord Jagannath who is none other than Supreme Personality of Godhead Sri Krishna. It is said that a person gets auspicious result of performing an Aswomedha Yagya in each step of pulling Rath. Furthermore scriptures enjoin that person who sees Lord Jagannath in Rath being pulled by rope will eventually be elevated to spiritual world. Such is the benefit of Rath Yatra. ISKCON Nepal has invited everyone to take part in this glorious ceremony.
