It is said thatYasya prasādād bhagavad-prasādaḥ.
Krishna will automatically be satisfied to one who satisfies his Spiritual master. Krishna doesn't accept our services directly but by the mean of spiritual master.
If the devotee serves his spiritual master sincerely, Kṛiṣhṇa automatically becomes pleased.
We, the living entities in this material world are lost in the dense forest of various gross and subtle elements. We are suffering for so long time from the attack of wild enemies such as anger , false ego , attachment for sensual pleasure etc. In fact we have forgotten the way to come out from it. Spiritual master is the representative of God and sent by God himself who can show us the way back to our home, back home to Godhead. Spiritual master , for the pleasure of Krishna and to save us from this dangerous circumstances , risks his everything. That's why he is so dear to Krishna. That's why serving Guru is recognized by Krishna himself even greater than serving him. Guru worship is greater than even the worship of the Lord.
There are many examples where Spiritual master is emphasized even greater than Krishna himself. In fact the Supreme personality of Godhead , Sri Krishna , himself demonstrated the importance of worshiping Guru by personally surrendering himself to his spiritual master Sandipani Muni. Whether it is the life history of Dhruva Maharaja or Prahalada Maharaja there is the plain presentation of greatness of Spiritual master. In fact Krishna is everything and to get Krishna prem is our final destination. We can not get Krishna prem without the mercy of spiritual master , who comes in the bonafide spiritual succession. Spiritual master picks up from this huge ocean of material existence and transfer to spiritual planet. In short we can say that Spiritual Master gives us Krishna himself. Krishna is pleased more when we please spiritual master. So, we can say that Guru worship is greater than even the worship of the Lord.
